CCA Ravenettes Robotics
Our robotics team, the FTC* Ravenettes (team 9837), started in 2015 at Canyon Crest Academy. Our team has significantly grown and improved since our inception and we now have 15 team members from 7th to 12th grade, We are fortunate enough to have 2 team coaches and several team mentors, which provide us with invaluable input. Our team has made it to San Diego FTC Regionals in 2016, 2018, and 2020. We have also won two Judge’s Awards, the Connect Award, the Rockwell Collins Innovate Award, and the Motivate Award.
Our robotics team has three groups which prepare for different parts of the robotics season. Two of our groups, mechanical and programming, work together to build our robot. Our team members work together to innovate, design, build, and improve our robot. Our third group, administrative, focuses on improvements for the team as a whole and works on expanding our reach through a number of community outreach and community learning programs.
